Pinewood Derby

Over the weekend, my son participated in our church’s Pinewood Derby.  Last year he won first place for speed in his class (K-4th grade) as an unexpected blessing, so this year he said he wanted to try to win first for design.  Well, guess what… he did!  He and Daddy spent a lot of time thinking about a good design and worked hard at it.  Lo and behold, their hard work paid off!  They made a car to look like Sonic the Hedgehog.  He is a video game character, if you aren’t familiar with him.
